Tim has been nominated in three categories for this year's BCMAwards. The
categories are Entertainer of the Year; male Vocalist of the Year and Solo
Act of the Year. The nominations were announced at the Americana Festival in
Newark on July 11th by George Hamilton IV and his son, George Hamilton V.

He continues his theatre tour in between his festival gigs with the band and
he is also currently recording for his next cd which should be available
later in the year.

 

The latest from the Tim as he gets ready to perform at the CMA Music Festival ...
 

Tuesday 1st:
 

Arrived very late around 1am Wednesday morning. (Flight delayed)
 

Wednesday 2nd:
 

10:30am had a successful meeting with Major Bob Music (Garth Brooks manager). They gave me some songs to listen to and said I could record whichever I wanted.
 

16:00pm
 

Had another successful meeting with Mike Dungan and two A+R girls from Capitol Records
 

Thursday 3rd:
 

I performed at a songwriters convention at The Listening Room in Nashville. (A huge success where I was swamped by Nashville songwriters who wanted me to record their songs.) I am feeling very upbeat.
 

Friday 4th:
 

Had an open house party at my US manager's house in Brentwood. I, along with Luke Thomas performed several songs accoustically. I am hoping for a huge crowd to come and see me after this performance at The Stage on Broadway on Monday evening. My US manager is very confident.
 

Saturday 5th
 

A rest day unless my manager calls me for any additional interviews/parties etc.
 

Sunday 6th
 

I had a meeting with songwriters which I really enjoyed and found very useful.
 

Monday 7th
 

The big day
I played to a packed house and signed autographs. The band were really good and looked after us, they did a wonderful job.
 

I am represented in the USA by Terry Stevens, formerly of Atlantic and Capitol Records and in the UK and Europe by Rob Davis, publisher of Up Country magazine and Cross Country magazine. (Enquiries 07564 939090)

I shall be performing with Luke Thomas and the band at various Dolly Shows around the theatre circuit during July and at the Americana, Sapcote Festival, Broken Spoke & Wolvestock but not necessarily in that order.
